Magic Engineering is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and proactive Junior Maintenance Assistant. No previous experience is required: we are looking for someone who wants to learn, take on new challenges, and contribute to the maintenance and smooth operation of the facilities and infrastructure of a rapidly growing international company. 

Role Overview

As a Junior Maintenance Assistant, you will support our Maintenance Manager in daily routine and special maintenance tasks, as well as in supplier management. You will help organize and plan the maintenance service with the goal of making it increasingly timely and efficient. We are looking for someone who is ready to work, learn and take a hands-on approach. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support small and medium routine maintenance tasks in the company’s facilities (repairs, painting, checking electrical panels, refilling water dispensers, cleaning air conditioning systems, etc.); 

• Help maintain the company’s outdoor areas (pool cleaning and maintenance, gardening and grounds maintenance, osmosis system and chlorination system administration, etc.); 

• Assist in monitoring the work performed by external contractors and managing related quotes;

• Help manage and check the company vehicle fleet (inspections, cleaning, fuel levels); 

• Support requests from other departments (airport transfers, parcel pick-up and delivery, etc.);

Technical Requirements & Key Skills

• High school diploma;

• Valid category B driving licence;

• Good practical and manual skills;

• Attention to detail, good listening skills and ability to work as part of a team;

• Excellent command of the Italian language and basic knowledge of English;

Nice to have

• Previous experience in maintenance activities, even if limited;

• Basic skills in construction, plumbing and/or masonry;

• Certificates for forklift operation, working at height, MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) or confined spaces;

Job Offer

• A 6-months internship, with the possibility of extension or full-time employment, based on the achievement of training and performance goal;

• Monthly internship allowance: €600–€800 gross, depending on the candidate’s academic background, technical competencies, and personal skills, in compliance with applicable internship regulations;
